♻️ Please like and share to support small business and get the word out! ♻️
🍾 This is a monumental day for this small business! It's the first bale of aluminum cans for Moke's Metal Recovery and Recycling! 🍾
As you can see by the first picture, used aluminum beverage can (UBC) recycling has been in our blood for a LONG time. It's from August 14th, 1993. This picture was taken at Dakota Alumican, Inc. Pictured are my Dad, Duane Moke, my faithful dog Chopper, and I. (I was 12 years old at the time.) We're holding a briquette made by Dad's newly acquired CanPak CD3000 Aluminum Can Densifier. He actually had started recycling several years earlier with a can crusher, but as business grew, it became necessary to have equipment that could process much more material in much less time. At one point, Dakota Alumican bought and processed more than ONE MILLION POUNDS of aluminum cans in a single year!
Fast forward 23 years and about 30 miles southeast of Dakota Alumican's location to find Moke's Metal Recovery and Recycling in Emery, SD. These pictures show our first bales made with our Harmony M30HD hydraulic baler. While it isn't as big or efficient as the machinery Dad had nearly 3 decades ago, it's our starting (And growing!) point!
We are already partnered with several local facilities as recycling partners, and would LOVE to take on your facility as well! What better way to get cash from trash?! (Think donations, office or facility parties, making improvements, and so much more!!) What kind of facilities do we partner with and purchase from, you may ask? Coffee shops, long term care facilities, bars and restaurants, and more!
Over and above aluminum beverage cans, we're also getting set up to purchase #1 and #2 insulated copper wire. This includes things like extension cords, Romex household wire, old Christmas lights, and so very much more! Whether you have a few pounds, or hundreds of pounds (We're looking at YOU electricians and contractors!), we're getting ready to not only accept, but 💵PAY💵 for your cans and copper wire! (Updated prices will be pinned to the top of our page.)
Don't have time to separate and bring your material to us? Call, message, email or text us! We'll pick up, separate, and send you a check for the current market value of your material! (Let's chat to give you the details!)
We also ACCEPT large and small appliances, old tools, household items... Heck, just about anything with a power cord! (Pick up available... Message for details!)
There's so many people, both current and over the years that have made this possible that I can't even begin to mention them all. Just know you're thought of often, and appreciated DAILY!
We look very much forward to working with you! Call, message, email, or text with questions TODAY!
Thanks so much, now and in the future!
