There is a very important meeting over the next three days.

Nine attendees. Eight figures in revenue to be distributed. A long-term negotiation that started a month ago and is continuing after a three-week cool-off period.

This meeting will be conducted in front of friends, family, and allies. All of it live. All of it public.

There is a clear hierarchy among the participants, built entirely off their current position on the cap table.

No one in that room reports to anyone else in that room. There is no boss. There is no org chart on the wall.

And yet the hierarchy could not be more rigid. One seat controls more than a third of the value at the table. It would take 4 other attendees to match their stake.

The person with the most leverage has held that position for less time than everyone else in the room. He is also the youngest person at the table.

Every attendee already has a guaranteed outcome most people would call the best year of their life and almost every one of them is going to leave this meeting feeling like they lost something.

Nobody is getting fired. Nobody is walking away broke. And somehow, that's almost beside the point.

Swipe. This one's for anyone who's been told their reading is the problem.

A thermometer gives a reading. 68 degrees isn't wrong. It's not right either. It's just what the room is doing right now. Nobody moralizes a thermometer.

But if you're gifted, twice exceptional, multipotentialite, spider web cognition, or just an ADHD brain running on burst productivity instead of steady hours, people have moralized your reading your whole life. Fast processing becomes "scattered." Five interests running at once becomes "flaky." Finishing fast and stopping becomes "lazy." None of that is a temperature you failed. It's a moral judgment you were handed.

My dad told me something a long time ago. I never forgot it. I'm a thermostat. Not a thermometer. Too cold, I turn up. Too hot, I turn down. I make sure the reading lands where it needs to be to get the result. A thermometer reports. A thermostat acts.

Most advice in this space stops at "there's nothing wrong with you." True. Also not enough. Relief isn't the finish line. It's the starting gun. Knowing your temperature isn't broken doesn't hand you the thermostat. It just clears the shame so you can finally reach for one.

Nobody hands you a thermostat. You have to know you're allowed to hold one, and become the person in the room who sets it.

I stood in front of a room of MBAs from Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Kellogg and told them their degree isn't the asset it used to be.

Not because they're not brilliant. Because information stopped being rare. Anyone can pull a median-quality answer to almost anything now, in seconds, for free. That used to be the whole game. Know more, get paid more. That game's over.

Here's what didn't get commoditized: asking the question nobody else saw. Knowing which answer to actually trust. The nerve to ship the thing instead of polishing it forever in private.

Stop arguing over the minor details just to prove you’re right. Being correct is a b***y trap.

If you process things really fast (too fast for others at work), you have spent your entire career running a high-capacity command center inside massive corporate systems. You were trained by big brands to prioritize safety, brand defensibility, and slow alignment. You wait for twelve people to agree before you click 'ship' on a single campaign because you are terrified of looking unpolished or facing public rejection. You call this heavy caution "quality control," but it is actually just overthinking and fear of failure trapping your potential on a tight, predictable concrete floor.

But out here in the zero-to-one phase, that enterprise manual is a total death trap.

Inside a massive company, marketing is defensive. It is designed to protect existing equity and minimize downside risk. But when you are building a new business from scratch, you have absolutely zero brand equity to protect. Nobody knows you exist. Your only real risks are absolute invisibility and running out of cash.

Your smart, fast-moving mind naturally wants to act like a low-volume sniper, waiting for the single, perfect, highly tailored move. But linear minds excel at that slow, straight-line precision game. Outsiders look at a jackpot and call it luck. It isn’t. It’s just math.

Look at the graphic on the screen. Haaland, Mbappé, Messi: three absolute machines hitting the number seven at the exact same time. To the casual fan watching from the couch, it looks like a rare stroke of fortune or an emotional miracle.

But from the pitch, it looks entirely different. It’s calculated, cold arithmetic executed at tempo.

They didn't pull a lucky lever and hope for the best. They flooded the box, increased the velocity of their runs, and put so much high-intensity volume on the board that hitting the mark became mathematically inevitable.

This is the exact operational blueprint my polymath, spider-web minded tribe needs to memorize to start the week.

If you possess a hyper-speed brain, your corporate conditioning trained you to play a low-volume, single-shot game. When you have a hyper-speed that thinks in decision trees instead of straight lines, you spend your life running a high-capacity decision engine inside spaces built for basic procedures and ex*****on. Traditional environments love to overutilize your ex*****on to fix their chaos, yet they completely sleep on your cognitive depth and underappreciate your true worth.

You are the polymath who carries the team, does the heavy lifting, and automatically connects dots that others don’t even see. But because your brilliance hits in massive, non-linear bursts, people misinterpret your intensity as reckless. Mainstream corporate advice tells you to play it safe, slow down your processing speed, and wait for a perfect, highly tailored consensus.
