Another project in the books!

Did you know that we also offer retaining walls??

Geo grid after 3 vertical courses, clean stone backfill, proper footer compaction, a minimum of 1 buried course & adequate drainage are what go into building a wall that will last ! We ran into some notorious “fill dirt” while digging the first footer pictured. I kept digging until we got back into virgin ground then built back up with large #3 limestone rock, making sure to compact each lift throughly! We then placed smaller #8 limestone for our block bedding layer! Pictured below are some shots from a few walls I built last year!

If you're experiencing water in your basement, odds are your downspouts are the culprit! Getting the gutters hard-piped and ran away from the foundation is a vital part of ensuring you never experience any unwanted water leaching its way down your basement walls! While there are many steps to proper drainage around your home, an often overlooked one is simply getting your roof runoff under control!

Pictured below are a few shots from a newly built home that I had the pleasure of doing just that. After I hard-piped every gutter on the house, I came back and finished graded the yard! Making sure that we have a negative grade away from the foundation is also one of the important factors in keeping water away from your basement!

Little late at posting these but here is a Gravel driveway I built over the 4th of July weekend!🇺🇸Once finished up it was right under a 1000ft long! I then placed & graded some DGA in a barn for them while I was on site! Happy with how this one turned out!

We needed to make room for the new swimming pool/ retaining wall! In order to achieve this 3 large trees had to be removed along with a pretty large cut into the hill side! While digging for the pool we ran into a limestone rock shelf.

Instead of hauling the rock away the homeowner gave me the go ahead to get creative with the large stones. I decided to use the stackable rocks for additional seating right off the front of the pool! The left over smaller rocks where then used for natural looking steps down to the creek! Choosing to keep the rocks on site and incorporated in the backyard saved them some serious money!
