This past weekend seven (yes...7) VHC members successfully completed an accelerated Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute, EMT-B course that VHC was lucky to host right here in Emmitsburg. Our membership continues to grow across all areas of our organization.
The 5-day a week, three month course demanded strict commitments from all the students and we couldn't be more proud of them all! Be it students at Mount St. Mary's University seeking a meaningful way to serve others, busy professionals seeking their next challenge or those starting off in the fire service taking their first ever course.
We are so proud of our growing membership and for all their service to VHC and the Emmitsburg community.
