We would like to congratulate Dean on making it to retirement! Dean has been our local UPS driver longer than our store has existed! He has always been an incredibly solid person, both professionally and personally, and is very much respected by all of us.

I find it amazing to see how much of an impact Dean has made in our community just by doing his job so well. How many packages has he delivered that were vital to keeping us going? How many people has he made smile just by showing up? How many people were relieved to get that part, or that paperwork just in time? It's something that we don't really think about when we see those beautiful brown trucks driving around.

Dean is the epitome of that classic tough, hard working, and dependable UPS driver. We will definitely miss working with him, but after 37 years his retirement is absolutely well deserved!

So Dean if you're reading this, may you be abundantly blessed with a long, beautiful, and satisfying retirement. May it be filled with good health, good experiences, and good friends. May your family be abundantly blessed along with you, and may you enjoy all of the good things in life that you've worked so hard for! ..Oh yeah, and enjoy driving around in the a/c! ❄️💪😁

We are a UPS, FedEx, and USPS drop off point! 🙌 As long as the package has a label, we can take care of that for you. 😊
We do charge a small handling fee for drop-offs. The reason why is because:

A) We have to pay UPS and FedEx to pick up here. We deliver USPS to the post office ourselves at our own expense.

B) We are a small, independent, locally owned business. We have to pay rent, our employees, and everything we need in order keep our doors open.

We understand that a lot of other shipping places don't charge for drop-offs, but they have other means of compensation that we don't have available for our location.

The good news is that we're owned and operated by people who live and work here, so your money stays here! ❤️😊

Tis the season for returns! Just to help save you some time, we can take returns with a shipping label, but we cannot process QR codes. Long story short, we do not have access to the software that's needed to process them. Usually there is a way to get a label, and we can help you get those. ☺️

Wishing everyone in our amazing community a happy, healthy, and joyful Christmas! Thank you all so much for your continued support for our small, locally owned business! ❤️

If anyone has any last minute Christmas gifts coming in, we will be open all day on Christmas eve so we can get those out to you. ☺️ Obviously we will be closed on Christmas day, but we will put out regular paper mail on Friday so if any last Christmas cards come in, you don't have to wait until Monday to get them. ☺️🙌

With the holiday season quickly approaching, we would like to address a couple of things that we're seeing in the shipping world. Hopefully it will help all of our friends around here.

* We have noticed that most online retailers are defaulting returns to a QR code. It's a free service, but they only work at official UPS Store®️ retail outlets. The closest one is in Tyler, Rockwall, or Kaufman. Since we are not an official UPS Store®️, we do not have access to the software needed to process QR codes.

* Amazon has started charging $6.99 for shipping labels. Usually these are for items bought through 3rd party vendors. Recently we've seen the price increase to $7.99.

* Most carriers increase their shipping prices for the holidays. USPS has already raised their rates, and others gradually increase as peak shipping season approaches.

* Last but certainly not least is the issue of scams. This one is important. Some online retailers, (we've even seen it from Amazon) will make you pay to return an item back to them with the notion that you'll be reimbursed for the expense. The problem is oftentimes the product has to be sent to places like China, which costs way more to ship than the product is worth. In addition, we've entered return addresses into our system, and the location cannot be verified. In other words there is absolutely no guarantee that your return is going to a legitimate address. And therefore you will not get your money back.

Another issue is cheap shipping to you from another country. Sometimes the sender will make you pay for the customs and tariff fees before you can receive your package.

I know this is kind of a lengthy post, but we wanted to get this information out to you in order to mitigate some of the chaos that peak shipping season brings along with it. As always, we're here to help out in any way we can, and we really appreciate being a part of this wonderful community! 😊
