In all honesty, Wholesome Plate Nutrition was born from one of the most challenging chapters of my life.
What started as an interest in health and nutrition slowly evolved into a complicated and unhealthy relationship with food. As my struggles intensified, I experienced consequences that impacted far more than my eating habits. My oral health, loss of menstrual cycle, energy levels, mental well-being, and overall quality of life suffered. There was a period when I felt disconnected from the very message of nourishment and wellness that I hoped to share with others.
The road back wasn’t quick or easy. It required years of self-work, healing, reflection, education, and learning how to trust my body again. Through that process, I discovered that true health isn’t about perfection, restriction, or chasing an ideal. It’s about balance, nourishment, resilience, and caring for yourself with compassion.
My personal journey ultimately led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Integrative Nutrition and dedicate my career to helping others build healthier relationships with food and their bodies.
Today, I can finally say that I practice what I preach…not because I have everything figured out, but because I’ve experienced firsthand how transformative healing can be. My story is a reminder that health is about so much more than what we eat. It’s about supporting the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
Wholesome Plate Nutrition exists because I believe everyone deserves a relationship with food that feels nourishing, empowering, and sustainable.
