We see you’re goal-setting & we love it!❤️

Tip: Remember to make your goals SMART: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic & Time-bound.

Here are some general examples:

Weekly Goal: I will eat healthy.
Weekly SMART Goal: I will eliminate fried foods from my diet.

Weekly Goal: I will go to bed earlier.
Weekly SMART Goal: I will go bed every night by 9:30 p.m. (You can add whenever you’ll turn the tv off/power phone down also).

Weekly Goal: I will save more money.
Weekly SMART Goal: I will fix my coffee at home and put my coffee shop money in my savings account.

Weekly Goal: I will read more.
Weekly SMART Goal: I will read for at least 20 minutes a day.

Weekly Goal: I will drink less soda.
Weekly SMART Goal: I will drink no more than 12 ounces of soda per day.

The grow up so fast.🥺 Today I found this picture in my memories from 9 years ago (2012). Looking at the sweet, innocent faces of my youngest children and nieces make me think of the many challenges that adolescents & teenagers face today.⁣
⁣
As a parent & Auntie, it’s tempting to worry sometimes. However, I read this encouraging message in “Praying the Scriptures for Your Children” by Jodie Berndt:⁣
⁣
“When God alerts us to something that is not right in our children’s lives, it’s not because He wants us to be worried or scared; it’s because He wants us to pray. Our prayers open the door to God’s redemption, protection, and blessing in our kids’ lives.”⁣
⁣
Parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, siblings, cousins, educators, let us pray for our youth daily especially in the areas where we know they are/may be experiencing difficulties.⁣
