One project. A lot of numbers. One team behind all of it.

This Dallas project has been a major effort across every part of Boyd.

Our designers, project managers, project engineers and support team worked through the details, coordination and planning that keep a project like this moving. Our team in the shop pushed hard through fabrication, paint, assembly and packing to get everything out the door. And today, our installer is headed to Dallas to begin the installation.

A big thank you to the Balfour Beatty Dallas team for the opportunity to be part of this project and to everyone at Boyd who helped move it from drawings and details to crates and now to the field.

Some properties call for signage that makes a statement. Others call for signage that knows exactly when to step back.

The Sun Rose in West Hollywood was one of those projects.

Working alongside a longtime client, we had the opportunity to provide signage for their premier property - a luxury destination that has become a backdrop for Emmy celebrations and plenty of other Hollywood events.

Throughout the property, the signage is intentionally understated. Warm metallic finishes, dimensional lettering and clean wayfinding complement the architecture without competing with it.

Sometimes luxury is in the details.

From the Boyd archives...and this one deserves a closer look.

Years ago, our team fabricated this sign for The Knuckle Brewing Company in Sturgis, and one detail still makes it one of our favorite motorcycle-themed projects.

That engine is not a real motorcycle engine.

It was completely fabricated by our team to create the look and dimension of the real thing...right down to the details that make you want to reach out and touch it.

The Knuckle Brewing Company has since closed, while The Knuckle Saloon remains part of the Sturgis landscape. For us, this is a great example of what custom fabrication can bring to a sign when a design calls for something well beyond ordinary.

Sometimes the coolest part of a sign...isn't a sign at all.

It’s all in the details.

Last week, we shared the finished 2Wheelers sign going up. Now we’re taking a closer look at what went into making it.

From the paint and finish work to the small fabrication details that help give the sign its character. This project came together through a lot of careful hands-on work.

The finished sign may be what catches your eye first, but we think the craftsmanship behind it deserves a little spotlight too.

We’re proud to have helped bring The Hotel Sturgis and Coffee Shop brand to life with custom signage designed to complement the character of this great Sturgis destination.

From the details to the finished look, this is the kind of project we love...signage that feels like it belongs exactly where it is.

And during Sturgis Motorcycle Rally week, there may not be a better time to spotlight a place where visitors can grab a coffee, settle in and experience a little piece of downtown Sturgis.

If your travels take you through town this week, keep an eye out for another piece of Boyd craftsmanship.

Big signs for big visibility.

When we fabricated the exterior signage for Sturgis Brewing Company, one of the biggest considerations was visibility from Highway I-90.

The signs needed to be bold enough to catch attention from the highway...without feeling oversized or out of place on the building itself.

That balance is what makes exterior signage work. It has to be seen, but it also has to belong.

These photos were taken on a much quieter day in Sturgis. This week, those same roads look a whole lot different...filled with motorcycles, visitors and the energy that comes with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

From logo to landmark.

We had the opportunity to take the Oasis Bar logo and bring it to life as a dimensional sign for their building in Sturgis.

There’s something special about dimensional signage...the depth, detail and craftsmanship turn a familiar logo into something that becomes part of the building itself.

And with the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in full swing, the timing couldn’t be better to showcase this one.

If you’re in Sturgis this week, keep an eye out for a little Boyd craftsmanship along the way.

It’s all happening...just without the construction paper now.

We recently fabricated this interior signage package for one of our longtime clients for a newly opened Las Vegas hospitality project.

The scope included guestroom identification, directional signage and code-required signs throughout the property. With black backgrounds, gold detailing and an Art Deco influence, the signs were designed to feel polished, dramatic and perfectly at home in a Las Vegas setting.

These photos were taken during installation, so yes...the floors were protected, the walls were still being finished and the property had not quite stepped into the spotlight yet. The project is now open, the construction zone is gone and the signs are officially serving their purpose.

Because even the most glamorous spaces still need clear wayfinding...and a little signage drama never hurts.

Signage with a little curve appeal.

This custom donor display for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus brings together beautiful digital prints, dimensional raised features, sleek stand-off mounting and an integrated digital enclosure...all installed on a curved wall.

It is a great example of how layered materials and digital content can work together to create a display that feels architectural, informative and completely integrated into the space.
