Gevo Gevo's Wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gevo,_Inc Gevo’s mission is to transform renewable energy and carbon into energy-dense liquid hydrocarbons.

These liquid hydrocarbons can be used for drop-in transportation fuels such as gasoline, jet fuel, and diesel fuel, which have the potential to yield net-zero greenhouse gas emissions when measured across the full lifecycle of the products. Gevo uses low-carbon renewable resource-based carbohydrates as raw materials from residues and slurries and is in an advanced state of developing renewable ele

ctricity and renewable natural gas for use in production processes, resulting in low-carbon fuels with substantially reduced carbon intensity (the level of greenhouse gas emissions compared to standard petroleum fossil-based fuels across their lifecycle) and GHG scores. Gevo’s products perform as well or better than traditional fossil-based fuels in infrastructure and engines, but with substantially reduced greenhouse gas emissions. In addition to addressing the problems of fuels, Gevo’s technology also enables certain plastics, such as polyester, to be made with more sustainable ingredients. Gevo’s ability to penetrate the growing low-carbon fuels market depends on the price of oil and the value of abating carbon emissions that would otherwise increase greenhouse gas emissions. Gevo believes that its proven and patented technology, which enables the use of a variety of low-carbon sustainable feedstocks to produce price-competitive low carbon products such as gasoline components, jet fuel, and diesel fuel, yields the potential to generate project and corporate returns that justify the build-out of a multi-billion-dollar business. We are excited to announce that we are developing plans for a potential expansion at Gevo North Dakota in Richardton, North Dakota. This expansion would add a second ethanol production facility with targeted production capacity of up to 75 million gallons per year of low-carbon ethanol. Earlier this year, we announced plans for incremental expansion of the existing facility from 67 MGPY to 75 MGPY over the next year. Combining today’s announcement of potential additional capacity and the previously announced incremental expansion project, the GND site would be expected to produce approximately 150 MGPY of low-carbon ethanol, more than 400,000 metric tons of captured CO₂, and additional animal feed and corn oil. With the recently reaffirmed priorities of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Renewable Fuel Standard, Gevo is well positioned to support American farmers, strengthen rural economies, and contribute to U.S. energy dominance and independence. Gevo thanks the Administration for prioritizing renewable fuels and for using the RFS to increase the domestic energy supply by leveraging the increasing productivity and sustainability of U.S. agriculture to produce both food and fuel. We share Administrator Zeldin’s view that over the past two decades, the RFS has played a critical role in strengthening and diversifying the U.S. energy mix, and the “Set 2” priority will further that progress by cutting reliance on foreign oil by roughly 300,000 barrels per day across 2026 and 2027. Gevo thanks the Administration for using the durability of the RFS to support energy security. Just as the RFS supported the production expansion of on-road biofuels, Gevo looks forward to continuing to work with the Administration, farmers, and industry partners to advance new fuels such as alcohol-to-jet fuel produced from American-made ethanol to meet the growing domestic demand for aviation fuel through cost-competitive biofuels.

Today at the White House Great American Agriculture Celebration, President Trump announced that U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized the historic Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) “Set 2” final rule.

We are pleased to announce the successful closing of a refinancing transaction that simplifies our capital structure. We redeemed all existing tranches of bonds relating to our renewable natural gas subsidiary, which totaled approximately $68 million. The bond redemptions allowed us to free up more than $35 million of previously restricted cash and lower administrative costs. https://investors.gevo.com/news-releases/news-release-details/gevo-completes-debt-refinancing-transaction-simplify-its-debt
