The Fort Rucker Freedom 5k is happening NEXT SATURDAY at West Beach Lake Tholocco. 🇺🇸 🏃

Packet pickup opens at 0645, and the race starts at 0800. This is a competitive 5k with awards for various male and female divisions and age categories.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – TRAFFIC VIOLATION TEXTS 🚨

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has received reports of citizens in our area receiving fraudulent messages claiming they have a traffic violation in Missouri.
These messages state that you must pay tolls, fines, or fees immediately or appear in court in person. This is a SCAM.

❗ Do NOT respond
❗ Do NOT click any links
❗ Do NOT send money or personal information

These scammers are attempting to create urgency and fear to trick you into paying or sharing sensitive information.

🗑️ What you should do:
• Delete the message immediately
• Do not engage with the sender
• Report the scam

📞 If you receive one of these messages, please report it to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office at (334) 894-5535.
