Navigator Development Group Inc. is honored to be an eight-time recipient of a HIRE Vets Medallion Award through the Department of Labor (DOL). During a televised award ceremony held January 29, 2026, in Washington D.C., U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor Keith E. Sonderling said a record breaking 888 companies were recipients of a gold or platinum 2025 HIRE Vets Medallion Award.
Navigator received the Medium Platinum award, which is earned by businesses that demonstrate unparalleled commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining veterans.
The award ceremony, usually held the first part of November, was delayed until this year due to the government shutdown in October 2025.
Following the ceremony, Peggy Gay, Navigator’s owner and CEO said, hiring veterans isn’t just a priority — it’s part of who we are at Navigator. “This national honor celebrates our ongoing commitment to recruiting, employing, and supporting our nation’s veterans,” she said. “Veterans provide an unmatched level of integrity, skill, and dedication, in addition to their shared passion for serving those who defend our country.
“With 81 percent of our workforce comprised of veterans, we proudly uphold the principles of the HIREVets program,” she said. “We’re committed to employing and empowering America’s veterans—not only do we thank them for their service but for strengthening our Navigator team every day.
