And while the efficiency gains are real (I’ve seen them firsthand), I keep coming back to one question:
❓ How do we make sure the human doesn’t disappear in this AI revolution?
I recently spoke with an executive who shared that their company replaced leadership roles with AI bots—roles that will likely never be held by humans again. It makes me realize that we are optimizing everything, except human connections.
When we remove humans, we don’t just lose jobs.
We risk losing the things that actually make organizations work:
✔️ Driving discretionary effort and performance
✔️ Building trust and accountability across teams
✔️ Retaining top talent in a changing workforce
✔️ Developing leaders who can adapt and scale
These aren’t “soft” things. They’re the foundation of strong cultures and high-performing teams.
