Otte Enterprises was started in 2001 as an environmental consulting company based in Northern Kentucky. We provide environmental, biological, and geological consulting services that focus primarily on the Tri-State region of southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana, where at least 90% of our work is concentrated. We strive to form long-term professional partnerships with our client
s by focusing our efforts on a specific region and providing top-quality and reliable services in our field to the industries in that region. The majority of Otte Enterprises’ work addresses environmental issues that are related to land use and land development. We work with local developers and commercial and industrial clients who need assistance addressing such items as stream and wetland impacts, stormwater management, erosion control, pollution prevention, land and stream restoration. We assist our clients in obtaining the correct local, state, and federal permits necessary for land development. We also prepare the plans that are necessary to stay in compliance with local, state, and federal agencies, relative to such concerns as stormwater management, wastewater discharges, erosion control, spill prevention, and groundwater protections. Lee Otte started Otte Enterprises in 2001. Lee has a B.S. degree in Geology and Biology from Northern Kentucky University, and M.S. degrees in Geology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lee has over 30 years of teaching, research, and work experience addressing a wide variety of environmental issues throughout the United States and Canada. Hillary Otte, Lee’s daughter, began working part-time for Otte Enterprises in 2007 while obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Liberal Arts from Xavier University, and her M.S. degree in Forestry from the University of Kentucky. Hillary became a full time employee of Otte Enterprises in 2012. Hillary’s specialties include stormwater management, stream and wetland function, and botanical surveys.
