With breeding season right around the corner and keeper bucks being posted daily, we thought the time was right to introduce our fall buck lamb “Iron Horse”.
His mom was the best Undercover Brother ewe lamb born in the fall of 2023, and she found the backdrop many times during her campaign by the Asmus family in the 2024 show season including Champion Wether Dam at the MJC Jackpot and AG Fest as well as Reserve Natural Ewe at CYE. His sire needs no introduction, his progeny have won in every show ring in America.
We’ve been trying to create one that has the potential to be a changer in terms of hip, pin width and muscle but still looks really cool from the side. Iron Horse possesses some of the truest muscle shape and dimension that we saw in a baby lamb this year. He has grown into a freight train, he’s fertile and we believe he’s going to make a big impact.
