Our machines will split wood non stop and keep going for years to come, just be sure to maintenance it correctly and take care of you investment. You can actually tow our Log Splitters anywhere you need to go as it has big custom trailer axles & wheels/tires. As long as your vehicle has a tow hitch equipped with a 2” ball you are ready to haul our Log Splitter anywhere and get to splitting wood. It’s nothing like those other splitters where you need to buy a trailer to haul it or load it behind your truck to take it anywhere and lacks the power to split your wood. With a Log King it makes it super easy for you to just hook it up, fire the machine right up and start splitting wood. Maintenance/Repairs 👨🏻‍🔧
This 1992 Unit came in from Truchas for a hydraulic fluid leak and tune up. This Log King wood splitter has been in this family since day one and gets put to use every year. We found the leak in the plumbing system, made the necessary repairs then gave this unit a nice tune up and sharped the blade. She is ready for more work for many more years to come!. This 2004 unit needs some TLC and we fixed her right up. Replace the leaking gas tank, replaced some worn out hydraulic lines, make a lid for the hydraulic tank, replaced the control valve and gave it a tune up. She is back in action and ready to split more wood for many more years 🪓

We have been staying busy building some of the baddest wood splitters around here in Northern New Mexico! Here is the latest build and it is the biggest and baddest machine we offer. It’s a 37Ton Setup with a 12” Tall Blade/Wedge and 13HP Electric Start Motor. You have to see these machines in person and how easy they are to operate and move around. This unit is in its new forever home in Chimayo, NM and will split tons of wood for years to come. This is our most requested setup and is a must have for splitting those big blocks and tons of wood. Every customer we have always have nothing but great things to say about our machines.

This season has been super busy for us and we are thankful for all the support and our customers. As soon as we complete a unit it’s gone to its new home and that puts a smile on our faces. Each wood splitter we build is only made with the best quality materials, excellent craftsmanship and heavy duty. Those other wood splitters don’t even compare to our units and their is a reason why ours last 10-30+ years VS those Lowe’s/Home Depot/Tractor Supply/Big R units which you would be lucky to last you a couple years. Plus it’s a bonus to have that peace of mind you have someone who knows these machines and will work on them if it ever needs it. Which is something that is hard to come by now days so this is definitely a smart investment if you burn wood each year. 🔥 Edition
Here is the latest build we just finished up for our long time customer out of Chimayo. He has one of our 1988 units and it’s still running strong. It was a custom built unit and much smaller/narrower then this new one with only a 15” stroke and had a three point tractor hitch setup on it.

He has a Ranch out in Gallina and he was tired of hauling his wood splitter back and fourth. He decided it was time to buy a second unit and to make it bigger and better then his older unit to leave out at his Ranch to split all that wood. Our customer is a big fan and wanted his custom built wood splitter to be the Española Sundevil colors. We built him exactly what he wanted and gave him a much bigger machine with a 25” stroke now. This unit is definitely some eye candy and ready to be put to work. Our customer couldn’t be more excited about his new wood splitter and he already towed it up to his Ranch where it will split tons of wood for years to come 🪵👑

Winter 🥶 is coming and wood season is in full force! We currently have a couple more wood splitters in production. We sold out of our current inventory in the last couple of weeks. Wood splitter rentals have been going out every weekend. If you need a rental be sure to reach out to us ASAP and we will get your splitter reserved.

Here is some behind the scenes action from the latest activities taking place in the shop. You can see we have lots of fabrication 👨🏻‍🏭 going on and soon to be some more assembly of hydraulic components. We keep improving parts and quality of our Log King machines. These are built to last years and you wont find a better splitter to get the job done year after year. Everyone who has rented from us has nothing but great things 👍🏽 to say about our machines. It’s Wood Season 🪵🪓!!

We have been blessed to be so busy this year with all the work coming in and out of our shop. We haven’t had a chance to take a moment and update you guys with all the work we have been doing but here is a glimpse at the latest.

We had a 1990 Unit come in for a tune up, oil change and some repairs on the old leaking hydraulic lines. The King himself sharpening up the blade so it splits those logs easily on that unit.

Then a 2005 Unit come in for a diagnosis of the engine starving for fuel, tune up and oil change. We found the problem on this unit and replaced the carburetor, flushed out the gas tank and replace the fuel filter and she is running strong again.

We have been slacking on updating you all with some pretty sweet Log King Wood Splitter builds. You better believe we are still at it and trying to get ready for wood season. This was a fun build we named Kermit and this is the best setup we can offer so far. This unit is equipped with an electric start 13HP motor, 12” tall blade, 16GPM Hydraulic Pump and a 3,500lb hydraulic cylinder. Still bringing you with that top notch quality craftsmanship on each build we do. These machines are built to last many years and and are proven already. If you need to gear up for the winter this will be the only wood splitter you will ever need. It’s called the and lives up to its name. This was the latest custom build the King himself and I knocked out for a customer down the road from us. He came in to discuss the options on the builds we do for our Log King wood splitters. After showing him the top of the line Log King we had been holding for another customer. He wanted to buy it! That unit was already sold so we let him know we could build him one exactly like that unit and since it’s a new build we would even paint it whatever color he wanted. We instantly sold him on the idea and jumped on board to get his build going and placed deposit. Our customer was so excited about his build he came back the next week to pay in full and check out the progress on his machine. This was the first time we had done this color scheme for a customer and it turned out stunning! Once we knocked out this build we had it out on the lawn advertising it and it was getting a lot of attention and lots of people wanted to take it home. We are glad we were able to knock this build out and gain another happy customer with our Log King Wood Splitter.
