We are going to start building our lists next week. Ester, Parks Ridge, Cripple Creek, ONH, and Gold Hill. If you are interested in hardpack removal we plan to start towards the end of the month. Weather forecast, weather temps and a full list will be the factors in when we start. While we are finding that the hardpack is lifting up because we did not get a rain to sheet the pack down, we know most of you like to have full removal of the snow to welcome spring with the least amount of water on your driveways. With the snow load getting close to 80", we are thinking some of you would like push backs with Our loader and straight blade. If there is enough of a demand, we will make it happen. We realize that the normal plow truck after this amount of accumulation cannot get the snow back far enough this late in the season and some of you have very challenging driveways. Did you know that we are having an average snowfall? Well, we feel a lot less pressure to keep your snow pushed back this year! We have started hardpack the furthest way from the shop. The grader is working off Chena Ridge today and Snowflake (the loader) will follow behind its tracks tomorrow and clean up driveways off the Ridge and Isberg. In Tandem fashion we will "steady as she goes" through Our lists. Miller Hill, Goldhill, Old Wood, Lower ONH, and Ester Lump will round out the week. Here is last year's big project on Photon Drive, towards Murphy Dome. The huge number of trees and extreme elevation change were a challenge at every stage of this project. Rich walked this property many times while choosing a direction to the top. Making sure our clearing limits were back far enough to cut in an incline manageable enough for water and fire trucks. Also considering a car in the winter months. Knowing where and how to develop your land's natural contours, manage drainage and prevent erosion is as important to Us as it is to you.
