For anyone interested in the process of making the hair sticks. Left to right
1. (Left) Is the steel stock as it comes from the store.
2. (Middle) I heat it up, hammer it and taper it down to the right size. And then cut it off the bar.
3. (Right) After getting it down to the right size, I grind it clean, up through the grits on my belt sander to achieve a nice texture and finish. Then I heat it up again, add the desired twist pattern, and then clean it up with a drill and a wire wheel.

We now produce hand-forged and finished chefs knives. This one has an 8 inch blade with a 4 3/4 Inch ish handle. Made from high carbon steel with walnut for the handle pinned with mosaic pins. These start at $200 each for ones like the shown blade. Smaller or larger knives will be more or less expensive.
