I am writing this letter in support of Chuck Owenby for Transylvania County Sheriff. I have known Chuck for over 20 years and worked with him for several of those years while assigned to the patrol division at the Sheriff’s Office. My own career has spanned well over 30 years, including positions working in patrol, jail administrator and Chief Deputy (Henderson County) before retiring. I only state some of my experience to qualify my endorsement for Chuck for the position as leader of the highest level of law enforcement in our county. Chuck is a man of integrity who will provide the utmost ethical, legal and professional leadership that is greatly needed. He has the experience, intelligence and drive to lead the complex organization of the Sheriff’s Office. The competent men and women that currently serve our county deserve someone with Chuck's values, determination and demeanor to lead them. He understands the diversity of our community and the need for close collaborative efforts with all agencies serving our county. Chuck is humble, well grounded, and open. He is a lifelong residence of Transylvania County, a dedicated family man and a strong proponent of the second amendment to the U.S. Constitution. He is heavily invested in his church, his family, the schools and numerous civic organizations. I urge you to go to the polls and vote Chuck Owenby for Sheriff!!

Here the down dirt scoop I have got to come up with $5,000 To get my skidster back And that keeps the P.O.S. that stole it from catching charges. I know but his Family have been there for me when no one else was. Plus cops never fix the situation most of the time. But I need some work y'all. I just had to big job cancel. One the seller pulled out and the other put me off So please put me to work y'all
