After many years in a retail location, I have recently transitioned my practice to a private home setting.

Over time I have made the difficult decision to stop billing insurance and move to a pay-at-time-of-service model. The insurance system has become increasingly complex for small practices like mine, often requiring months of waiting for reimbursement while navigating extensive administrative barriers. Clients will be provided with information to submit their own claim to their insurance carrier.

For those who are currently waiting on product orders, please know that I am still actively working to fulfill all outstanding orders. Some items have experienced delays related to suppliers and previous insurance processing, and it may still take some time to fully resolve everything that is pending.

Alongside this transition, I will also be re-introducing and officially launching Her Breast Decision Ever, a program within Remember the Moon designed to ensure women receive education and preparation before surgery.

Online scheduling is currently available at www.rememberthemoon.com and I continue seeing clients by appointment in my new home practice.

Thank you for being part of the Remember the Moon community and for the trust you have placed in me over the years. It truly means more than I can express.

Warmly,

Andrea, Certified Mastectomy Fitter

In late summer of 2015, my husband and I had the privilege of joining a Caregivers Trek with True North Treks, a nonprofit organization that creates life-changing adventures for young adults with cancer. Canoeing and camping on the Missouri River in Montana, we connected with others who truly understood our journey.
This experience was more than just a trip—it was a time for reflection, community, and rebuilding strength together. It reminded us of the power of teamwork, the importance of nature in healing, and the beauty of sharing stories with those who "get it."
Our trek celebrated not only my survivorship, but also the strength, love, and support of caregivers.
Caregivers often go unnoticed in a cancer journey of a spouse, child or dear friend. Caregivers may not have had cancer themselves, but the trauma deeply affects them, too—and all too often, loved ones lack outlets for their own healing. Our trek was a crucial reminder of just how important it is to acknowledge a caregiver’s journey, creating space for caregivers to reflect, heal, and even realize they need to heal in the first place.
Whether you join a trek as a young adult cancer survivor or as part of a group with caregivers, the time you spend in nature and in community opens your eyes to just how far cancer’s impact extends—and only by becoming aware can the healing truly begin.
I’m grateful to True North Treks mission and important work, and I encourage everyone to support their incredible mission and sign up for your own True North Trek! Find your star!

You don’t know what you don’t know…and that is why I am sharing this information with you.

Her Breast Decision Ever was created for that exact sentiment.

Arm yourself with the ability to make empowered decisions about your post surgery body, prior to surgery.

Stand tall in your strength and be your own advocate.

Remember, YOU are the HERO in this story.
This is your story; your path, your body, your healing.

I look forward to meeting you.

Being diagnosed with cancer is overwhelming, to say the least. As a beautiful client so powerfully and poignantly said to me last week, "It's a mind f--k."

Yes, yes it is.

My heart ached for her. The touch and go of emotions hitching an uninvited ride to her soul - I could see them twisting everything inside her.

She read my “Her Breast Decision Ever” poster on the wall behind me as I took down her insurance information, and she emphatically yelped from the inside out, “THAT should be hanging in every doctor’s office! Why didn’t I know about you?”

I could viscerally see her mind questioning, spinning; trying to make sense of why she had to make such a difficult decision about her body, grappling with questions she didn’t understand or know to ask - when there is a vital resource available to her - a resource specifically to help her make Her BREAST Decision Ever.

“What the f–k?” she said.

Yes, indeed.

I’m not going to tell you what you should do - which decision to make - whether you should choose to be FLAT or have reconstruction or decide to part with one b**b and not the other - or part with both b**bs -

but I WILL share with you what I’ve seen & heard from hundreds and hundreds of women regarding the path they took, the path they wished they had taken (and the reasons why), and the questions they wished they knew to ask their surgeons – and the crucial questions they wished they would have asked themselves.

I hear weekly, if not every day, “Why didn’t I know about you/this resource sooner?”

Why has such a vital piece to the breast-cancer-puzzle been left out?
How has it been so overlooked?
Let us NOT continue to reinvent the wheel.

You don’t have to make these tough decisions alone.
