Led by Leo, the first Filipino winemaker in Oregon, we’re rooted in community & connection. Our passion is to create wines that reflect the beauty surrounding us in the Southern Willamette Valley. We believe in producing exceptional wines through gentle processing. Each vintage is unique and we invite you to experience it.

Perfecting that bottle of wine takes a little magic.

It starts in the vineyard.
Relies on the weather.
Takes precise timing to harvest.
Fermentation.
Intention by a winemaker and a team.

It’s not an easy task, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

You shouldn’t have to know it all to be welcome.
That’s one of the things we love most about wine.

As a small family winery in the Willamette Valley, it’s our privilege to welcome so many people and introduce them to wine.

We make a wine for every palate. Why?
So everyone feels they have a seat at the table.

You don’t need to know anything about wine to visit a winery.

When you’re ready for your next wine adventure, we look forward to welcoming you.

Some stories are rooted in a place.

For Sweet Cheeks, that place is Oregon. More specifically, Eugene.

From our family’s beginnings in the vineyard to the people, partnerships, and community that continue to shape Sweet Cheeks Winery today, our story has always been about more than making wine. It’s about creating something meaningful in the place we call home.

We’re grateful to the University of Oregon Alumni Association for sharing the story of our family, Oregon spirit, and sense of place behind the wine.

Jessica Thomas, BS ’13 (art), and Katie Brown, BA ’13 (public relations), remain rooted to the UO as leaders at Sweet Cheeks Winery. The alumnae recently collaborated with the university on limited-edition, UO-branded wines.

The weekend is on the horizon.

A little more daylight, a little more room to breathe. Maybe a drive out to wine country is just what you need.

We’ll be here when you’re ready for it.

There’s a lot of life behind a bottle of wine.

There’s the land, and the seasons, and the work that never really stops.

There are the early mornings and long days. Tractors that need to keep running. Frosted evenings, heat waves, unexpected rain storms (or lack of rain), and all of the little decisions that come with growing something you can’t completely control.

There are people who care deeply about doing the work well.

People who farm, tend, harvest, make, bottle, pour, and share.

And then there’s the moment when all of that comes together in a bottle.

That’s one of our favorite parts.
Taking something grown here, making something we are proud of, and knowing it’s being opened on a table where people are gathering, connecting.

Because, for us, wine is more than what’s in the glass. It’s the place it comes from, the people who make it, and the people who choose to share it.

We are grateful to be part of that.
