In a recent complex open repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm, our surgical team successfully performed vascular reconstruction using SokoLife’s GA-FIXED biological vascular graft.

This case highlights the growing role of biological vascular materials in supporting durable reconstruction, reliable blood flow restoration, and improved integration with host tissue. The procedure resulted in stable postoperative outcomes and effective perfusion of distal vessels.

Grateful to the surgical and clinical team from the Department of Vascular Surgery, National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology, for their expertise and commitment in managing some of the most challenging vascular cases.

Trooper Recovery, powered by SokoLife’s extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold, supported healing in this complex reconstructive scenario.

In cases where donor-site closure after free fibular graft harvest is not feasible, thoughtful wound management becomes critical. Following reconstruction after a severe blast injury with a 16-cm humeral bone defect, a collagen-based ECM dressing was used to support granulation tissue formation and successful epithelialization at the donor site.

Grateful to the surgical and clinical teams of the A. A. Shalimov National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology for their expertise and commitment in managing some of the most challenging trauma cases.

At Ohmatdyt National Children’s Hospital in Ukraine, clinicians applied SokoLife’s ECM Wound Dressing in a child with epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

✨ Early results were inspiring:
✔ Wound closure where other methods had failed
✔ Reduced infection risk
✔ Stronger, more stable tissue formation

While our ECM Wound Dressing is not yet FDA cleared and not available in the U.S., these experiences fuel our mission to bring innovative healing solutions to patients everywhere. 🌍

Together, we believe in a bigger future of healing. 💫
