Responsibilities:
• Assist/support technicians with their needs
• Catalog/wash parts
• Maintain cleanliness in shop and work place
• Tear down/disassemble units as needed
Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3+ years of mechanical experience (preferred)
• Desire to learn or existing knowledge of assembly teardown of Powertrain components used in the heavy equipment industry; such as transmissions, converters and axles
• Demonstrate ability to disassemble and identify components using assembly schematics and bill of materials
• Ability to operate industrial parts washer
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Must be reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated and have excellent attendance
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with maintaining equipment, metal work and mechanics
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Ability to work in an environment subject to fluctuations in heat, humidity, fumes, odors, dust, and noise
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Other details:
• Hours: Full time weekdays
• Pay Rate: starting at $16/ hour DOE
• Position Type: 90 day temp to hire
