This makeover took several months to complete, but it was certainly worth the wait! An entire bedroom set including the bed (headboard, footboard and rails), dresser, two nightstands and an armoire all went from dark to light. The tops were sanded and stained in a mix of gray and dark walnut/Jacobean. Remaining surfaces were painted in Dixie Belle Cotton, sealed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax and lightly distressed. ❤️

Transformation Thursday! This dresser was part of a remodel project that needed lighter and brighter. The top was sanded and stained in General Finishes Java. The rest was painted in Dixie Belle Fluff Chalk Paint and waxed with Annie Sloan Clear Wax. Some light distress for the finishing touches! ♥️

Fun dining room makeover that swapped out the dark and brown for lighter and brighter! Chairs were reupholstered and painted in Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint. The table and dresser were sanded and stained in a mix of weathered gray and ebony; the base was painted in the same Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint.
