Happy Mother’s Day to the amazing women of the timber industry!

Whether you’re raising families, running equipment, managing crews, or supporting the industry behind the scenes, your strength, resilience, and dedication help keep our forests—and our communities—growing strong.

Today, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who balance hard work with heart.

Thank you for all you do, both at home and in the woods. Wishing you a Mother’s Day filled with love, laughter, and a little well-deserved rest. 🌲❤️

A Legacy of Leadership 🌲

Pictured here is an elite group—Past Presidents of the Redwood Region Logging Conference.

This group represents decades of leadership, grit, and heart in the timber industry. They’ve seen it all… the highs, the lows, the changes, and the challenges. And through it all, they’ve adapted, embraced innovation, and never lost their deep-rooted love for the industry or the people behind it.

Because at the end of the day, this industry is about family. It always has been.

Each year, no matter where the conference is held, past presidents come together—to reconnect, to reflect, and to pass down wisdom to the next generation of leadership. Their stories, experience, and perspective continue to shape the future of the Redwood Region Logging Conference.

We are grateful for the foundation they’ve built—and proud to carry it forward.

They may be grown up now… but this is where it all started. ⚾🌲

Before the long days, the big equipment, and the responsibility of carrying an industry forward — they were just kids with big dreams, dirt on their boots, and a love for the woods.

This year’s Director team didn’t just organize a conference… they brought a lifetime of passion to the 88th Redwood Region Logging Conference.

From Dugouts to Decking, they showed us that timber isn’t just a job — it’s a legacy. One that starts young and runs deep.

And if we’re being honest…
they’re not quite ready to leave the field just yet.

To the town of Ferndale — thank you for welcoming our timber family and helping us create something truly special.

To our timber family — this one’s for you. Always has been.

Because this isn’t just an event…
it’s who we are. 🌲⚾
