Network Support Tech: Starting pay: DOE + full benefits.
Applicant will be familiar with:
-All current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
-Setting up and configuring server hardware
-TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, wireless
-Firewalls and VPN protocols
-Backup and recovery software and methodologies
-Virtualization technologies like VMWare or Hyper-V
-Network diagnosis testing tools and commands

o Experience with network support or support tech role
o Understand best practices: management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills including record keeping
o Team member to provide support for other members on projects as needed
o Maintain proper grooming and attire
o Able to lift/move 40lbs
o Valid Driver’s License
o Pass Live Scan and Drug Test
o Available for occasional after hours and weekend projects

Run network cable, terminate ends, install network switches and equipment in cabinets. Use tools such as drills, low voltage diagnostics tools. Requires good customer service and communication skills, clean and orderly appearance, and user-level understanding of computers and mobile devices.

Multiple sites with AT&T PRI and SIP trunks are not receiving inbound calls this mornig. AT&Tsays its a arouting issue with VOIP traffic in Nothern California. Current fix, on user end, is to power cycle the AT&T Edgemark (silver box) or Cisco (black or green) router. If you are on IPFlex then it will take down your internet during the reboot as well so plan accordingly.
