Let me break this down:
Creditors are where the debt originates from i.e.; Capital One, AMEX, B of A.
This is who you actually signed your contract with agreeing to pay the amount borrowed. Let's say you face hardship and are forced to quit paying your debts which are unsecured might I add...after 120 days on average they will be sold to 3rd party collection agencies, whom you did NOT sign the contract with. They can and will collect on you if you don't know how to respond to their collection letters and calls. If you exercise your rights deemed by the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collections Practices Act) you can cease and desist the collection and require proof or validation. But do you know what to do next if they send proof? Do you toggle back and forth if you should file bankruptcy? These debates are important and must be evaluated. You can't assume you understand this stuff enough to make a life sentencing decision. You really think a BK attorney is gonna shoot you straight? NO!!!There's a way around all of this, a way to avoid bankruptcy... I don't just say it I exercise it. Everything is possible.. ✨✨✨
