Meet the Virginias! 👯♀️
Virginia Kondziolka:
“I am a graphic designer, artist, paper sculptor, and paper jewelry designer. My work is about colors, movement, shapes, edges, and metallics. This applies to all of the items previously mentioned. I’ve enjoyed working with 300lb watercolor paper. My paintings have torn edges, shapes that were cut and folded out, items that were cut out, painted, and glued onto the paintings.”
Virginia O. Roeder:
“I have always been fascinated by color. As a child, I was intrigued by the subtly varying colors of bird feathers and the ever-changing colors of light through treetops. As a graduate student in painting, I focused on learning and observing color relationships and color mixing. I was also fascinated with the contrast of extension (balance of colors). I became an abstract painter. More recently, I have transferred these interests back to landscape, sky, and water.”
Come see their work before the end of June! 📆
