This symbol is a Hoyaku. It's a key that's usually for a storehouse of grain, rice, or special belongings. Sometimes Kitsune (fox gods) 🦊 are depicted with the Hoyaku in their mouths in paintings or as statues in front of shrines and temples. Hoyaku symbolizes trust and good fortune.

Hey everyone, my name is Dan! I'm an apprentice at Sweetheart Ink Tattoos in Evanston, IL. And I'm so excited to meet you!

Currently in my apprenticeship I'll be focusing on line work and black tattoos ONLY. So, simpler designs to craft a solid foundation and build towards my goals. The other artists in the shop are incredible, and push me to be a better draftsman every day.

I'm passionate about creating a welcoming, safe environment where clients feel heard and understood throughout the entire tattoo process. Building trust and open communication is just as important to me as the art itself.

I love to create bold, exciting, and unique tattoos that really capture my clients' ideas and interests. New school and Japanese are my two favorite styles of tattooing, especially when they're blended in unique ways. That's where I'll be aiming my own style creatively, but I'll definitely work any idea and try to create the best tattoo I can for you. I'm really into fun hybrid creatures, Kaiju monsters, Pokemon, video games, and dabbling in DND.

Toxtricity! - This short-tempered and aggressive Pokémon chugs stagnant water to absorb any toxins it might contain. Capable of generating 15,000 volts of electricity, this Pokémon looks down on all that would challenge it.

This is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. Electric and poison are my two favorite typings. And they just look so rad! Easily a yakuza or biker gang would have one of these. Very metal/punk rock.

Mega Starmie - This Pokémon has an organ known as its core. The organ glows in seven colors when Starmie is unleashing its potent psychic powers. From its core it sends mysterious radio signals into the night sky. Its movements have become more humanlike. Whether it's simply trying to communicate or wants to supplant humanity is unclear.

This guy... You know I didn't really like him at first but I think he's really grown on me. Honestly, he's one of my favorite megas if I have to be fair. Hope you guys like voivod!!

Mega Malamar - Its hypnotic powers are dangerously strong. Anyone who falls under Malamar’s control loses their memories surrounding the event. It uses its colorful lights to overwrite the personalities and memories of others—and to control them.

I Love this guy so much. Malamar has been an odd mainstay on a few of my teams. His ability contrary is isn't always practical but can be useful. He's like Pokemons version of the ilithids or the mindflayers from DND.

Mega Banette - Strong feelings of hatred turned a puppet into a Pokémon. If it opens its mouth, its cursed energy escapes. Mega Evolution increases its vindictiveness, and the cursing power that was held back by its zipper comes spilling out.

Banette has always been a goofy looking pokemon, but one of my favorites. When it's mega though, it's really quite weird and a little scary.

Chandelure - This Pokémon haunts dilapidated mansions. It sways its arms to hypnotize opponents with the ominous dancing of its flames.
Shield In homes illuminated by Chandelure instead of lights, funerals were a constant occurrence— or so it's said.

One of my favorite Pokemon! I usually lean towards electric and poison types, but this is one of the coolest Tsukumogami (living object yokai) Pokemon. It's like Lumiere, but a little spooky!
