Meet Faith Norrick , our Accounts Receivable team member at our SONITROL of Evansville location!

On September 27th, Faith will celebrate 4 years with SONITROL! 🎉

When she’s not at work, Faith says her favorite way to spend her time is with her family.

The thing she enjoys most about working in accounting is the satisfaction of seeing everything balance out and equal.

A few things that can almost always make Faith smile or turn a bad day around:

Outside of work: Chips, queso, and margaritas!

Team Sonitrol would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of K9 Officer Doc, who was laid to rest last night. Our hearts go out to his humans, Officer John Montgomery, wife Lauren, and their children, who all adored and loved Doc.

In 2016, Sonitrol of Evansville provided the sponsorship for Evansville Police Foundation to purchase K9 Doc, who worked faithfully alongside Officer Montgomery in patrol and narcotics detection.

After a life of serving our community, full of criminal apprehensions and narcotics detection, K9 Doc enjoyed a well-earned retirement surrounded by his pack of loving humans. We enjoyed following his career with Evansville Police Department and celebrating his birthdays with lots of toys and treats.

Team Sonitrol took a personal interest in this beautiful Hungarian born German Shepherd, who was named (after a unanimous vote) in honor of our late Sonitrol of Evansville founder, Dr. William “Doc” Standring. Rest in peace, K9 Doc. We will never forget you or your service of keeping our streets safe. You will be missed. 🐾

We will miss you, K9 Doc.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of retired EPD K-9 Doc.

Doc faithfully served alongside the Evansville Police Department before retiring in 2024. Throughout his years of service, he was more than a working K-9 - he was a trusted partner, a protector, and a beloved member of the EPD family.

Doc also held a special connection to the Evansville Police Foundation. He was purchased through the Foundation thanks to the generous sponsorship of Sonitrol of Evansville, Inc., whose support helped bring Doc to EPD and begin his years of service to our community.

Throughout his career, Doc was an integral part of the K9 Team and made an incredible impact. He had 33 apprehensions, 100 surrenders, sniffed out 100 pounds of ma*****na and 42 pounds of methamphetamine, located more than $100,000 in currency, and earned several USPCA awards.

We are grateful for Doc’s loyalty, dedication, and the lasting mark he leaves on the EPD family and our community. Our thoughts are with his handler, Officer John Montgomery, his family, and all those who knew, worked alongside, and loved him.

Rest easy, Doc. Thank you for your faithful service. You will not be forgotten.
