Act Resources is currently looking for both Inexperienced and Experienced underground coal miners for a mine located in Francisco Indiana.

Candidates DO NOT need to have current MSHA training to apply. If chosen during the interview process, your training will be covered at no cost to you. As well as being compensated to take the training.

Starting pay for Inexperienced miners is $23 per hour. Experienced miners will start at $26 per hour.

All positions are temp to hire. Insurance available after 30 days. $5000 sign-on bonus upon full-time hire with the client. Average hire on time is around 3-6 months.

Candidates must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

Overtime will be required. Currently working 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday and every other Saturday.

Shifts rotate between days and afternoons every two weeks. Night shift does not rotate.

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Act Resources is searching for several underground concrete laborers for a project that will last approximately 12-18 months. Project location will be in Raven, VA. We will be conducting phone interviews this week followed by an in-person on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022.

Candidates MUST have CURRENT Underground MSHA certifications.

Candidates are also encouraged to apply if they have any of the following certifications:

-First-Class Shaft and Slope Foreman

-Hoisting Engineer

-Underground Shot Firer

-Certified Top Person

-Advanced First Aid

Pay will start between $21-$24 per hour based on experience. Employees working underground will also receive a $3 per hour bonus. Overtime will be required. Expect to work 12-hour shifts up to six days a week. Day and night shifts available.
