Join Indiana Filmmakers Network for an evening of creativity, conversation, and networking with acclaimed Indiana screenwriter and independent filmmaker John Oak Dalton!

With more than 40 screenplays sold and over two dozen produced, Dalton is an experienced voice in independent genre filmmaking. A Ball State University graduate, he was the first recipient of the David Letterman Telecommunications Scholarship for screenwriting. His directorial credits include The Girl in the Crawlspace (2018), Scarecrow County (2019), and Smart House (2023).

Join us for an engaging presentation and open Q&A exploring screenwriting, horror, cult cinema, independent filmmaking, and the creative challenges of producing films on a budget. Bring your questions, exchange ideas, and learn from an experienced filmmaker!
