Hey guys! Ellora here.

I was working on September analytics reports and decided to make a post about social media marketing. Because I too used to look right past it. Yet today, I know it is one of the most powerful avenues to grow your business.

The social media game has definitely changed. Candid sells now more than ever. Why? I think part of it is that "back in the day" we had a lot more in-person interaction. Today, we get less in-person interaction, but people still crave the genuine, human touch behind every business.

I do social media a little differently. Many will tell you the key is to post daily, end every post with a CTA (Call to Action)... the list goes on. Those things can be great, but I don’t always end every post with a CTA because people don’t want to constantly be sold to, and posting daily can sometimes come across as spammy. People want to see what makes your business unique. I don’t even think the primary goal of social media should be to close a sale, I think it should be to grow brand awareness and showcase your work (and sales will naturally come with that.)

Studies show that many people will check a business's social media before ever going to their website. But the reality is: it's one of the first things owners neglect when they get strapped for time. I am exhibit A of this!!! I went months without posting because I was busy, and I literally offer social media as a service! Yikes… But making sure my clients' needs were met is far more important than advertising myself. Most business owners would agree!

Well that’s why I do what I do. I know business owners are wonderful at their craft, yet often don't have time for the rest of the important parts of running a business.

What’s the takeaway from my Friday evening spiel? Just be you and make that post to show off your business. Don't worry about it being perfect. Your customers want to see the real YOU behind the brand and want to know you're active.

And if you don’t have time to make the posts? Well that’s where Evergro comes in. :) (Guess I did end this post with a CTA…)

Have a great weekend! -E

Do you owe taxes to the State of Indiana?

If so, the Indiana Tax Amnesty 2026 program is officially underway and runs from July 15, 2026, through September 9, 2026.

This limited-time opportunity allows eligible taxpayers to pay past-due, eligible taxes and receive a waiver of related penalties, interest, and collection fees.

Who qualifies? You may be eligible for this program if you meet two conditions:

1. Your tax debt is from 2023 or earlier.
2. You are a first-time amnesty applicant. If you or your business successfully completed Indiana's previous tax amnesty programs in 2005 or 2015, you are not allowed to participate this time.

Not sure if you qualify? The Indiana Department of Revenue offers an online eligibility tool to help determine whether you may be eligible for amnesty. If you qualify but can't pay in full immediately, you may also be able to establish a payment plan during the amnesty period.

Don't miss this opportunity to get caught up with the state and potentially save on penalties, interest, and collection fees. Check your eligibility before the September 9 deadline.
