UTP Solutions Custom Injection Molder for Medical, Defense, Aerospace, and Automotive

We're investing in new manufacturing technology at UTP Solutions — and we're investing in the people who will make it valuable.

As we expand our precision machining capabilities, members of our injection molding team will soon begin CNC training through Ferris State University's America's Cutting Edge (ACE) program.

It's part of how we're approaching growth at UTP: whenever possible, create opportunities for good people already on our team to learn new skills, take on new challenges and build their careers as the company grows.

Our relationship with Ferris runs deeper than training. UTP President Ryan Eggleston serves on the advisory board for the Ferris State Plastics program, helping strengthen the connection between manufacturing education and the needs of industry.

We're fortunate to have a resource like Ferris State developing manufacturing talent here in Michigan, and we're looking forward to seeing our team put those new skills to work.

We’ve been investing heavily in the future of UTP Solutions — new equipment, expanded machining capabilities and new programs in medical devices and defense.

But some of the most important investments we can make are in our people.

This year we brought members of our tooling/machining, engineering and project management team to IMTS to explore the latest advances in machining, workholding, tooling, automation and metrology.

As our capabilities expand into more complex medical instrumentation, implants and defense programs, we want our team learning alongside the business — seeing new technology firsthand, meeting the people behind it and bringing ideas back to our operation in Evart.

We’re also getting ready to grow the team.

Several new opportunities will be opening at UTP for people interested in building a career in advanced manufacturing. If you want to work somewhere that is investing, growing and giving its people an opportunity to help shape what comes next, stay tuned.
