Single 8' stopped diapason, scaled like a 'big boy' church organ, not like most portable continuo organs. 51 notes, CC - d''', transposing A=415/440/465. Minimalist case design in poplar, with beautifully crafted keyboard and a light, responsive action. Electric blower spatially isolated from wind chest for added tuning stability. Horizontal layout makes for easy tuning in 5 minutes or less. Organ detaches from stand for transport.

Zuckermann mini Italian virginal by Carl Miller, 1994. 49 notes, GG/BB-d''' with split sharps in the bass. Tuned at A=415. Newly restrung and requilled in delrin. At just 48" wide, this is one of the smallest instruments we've ever offered for sale with a sound and personality much larger than one would expect, and a tone color closer to a harpsichord than to to most of the 'standard' Zuckermann Italian virginals we've come across. It fits in a Mini Cooper or even a Fiat 500 and yet can hold its own with a chamber ensemble. Comes with custom music desk and stand which easily disassembles for transport.
