Finally I got a much needed paint job on my historic Fosheim House in Everett. It's been in our Fosheim family since my grandfather bought it in 1935 and mine since 1984. These are Sherwin Williams historic colors from the era it was built, 1910.

A new tile floor going in today in the upstairs bathroom. It's a complete remodel with new tub and cabinet.

It was a long slow and expensive project but we finally finished up my historic downstairs apartment at 2421 Rucker. I love this place. My first rehabilitation was exactly forty years ago so she did need some help. This cover photo is of my son's place, the historic Clark Mansion.

Here is a before and after photo of the front of 1722 Hoyt. It was a mess inside and out. After a few long years of work it was finally presentable. One of my hardest rehabilitation projects. The home was designed by famous Everett architect August Heide.

I purchased 2017 26th Street in Everett in 1980 and paid way too much at $49,000. It looked really bad but it had a great historic history. I spent over ten years working on it before finally putting on the finishing touches. I put a loft bedroom up in the attic. The wood in this 1892 home is just fantastic. I was privileged to receive a William F. Brown award for historic preservation from the Everett Historic Commission. The home which I no longer own is on the Everett Historic Register. I'm really proud of this one.

1722 Hoyt in Everett. I purchased it during the '80s recession when the historic home was owned by a bank and no one wanted it. I poured a lot of money and time into it as it had lots of potential. This is the rear of the house before and after with some work still to follow. I received a historic commendation from the Everett Historic Commission for my rehabilitation job. I wish I still owned it.

Laminate floors sure look great over the top of old linoleum. They are super easy to install too.
