Today we are celebrating our CEO, Roxanne's 41 year Evertek Anniversary. Roxanne always has so many wonderful ideas and insight into the communications industry. We spent a little time and asked her some questions.
First, we asked how she thinks AI will change everyday life and/or work-life at Evertek. She shared a real-world example of a new headset she had AI create for her from a more casual photo she liked. She also said she felt AI will help our staff in troubleshooting and pulling up a summarized record of history to better serve customers.
When asked if she is using any new or interesting apps, websites or devices, she said she recently started using an app called 'Merlin'. It listens to the birds around you and shows real-time suggestions for the type of bird it is. It also allows you to snap a photo and produces a short list of possible matches.
We also asked if she has a specific story about how a staff member went above and beyond for our customers. "I have so many great stories but what I can say about everyone is that they are truly exceptional and work with our customers over the phone and in person. They truly care about the work they do and the services we provide. Also, since we are not a big box provider, the people helping our customers are your neighbors and they shop in the communities we serve."
Lastly, we asked what significant Evertek updates or new services she feels are most beneficial to customers. She offered the new fiber packages, faster speeds (at the same prices) and added protection with ProtectIQ offered to all customers. "I love the fact that everything behind the router can be protected."
