A very special “Thank you!” goes out to all the many supporters that responded to our year end appeal. The response was overwhelming! Not only did it supply much needed funding, but it also gave assurance that many people value our efforts to help the senior citizens of Lewis County age in place gracefully. Your financial support, along with our many volunteers, makes it possible to help not only senior citizens, but also the families that assist them. Our clients, staff, volunteers, and board members all thank you for your support!

Hometown Hero! Roberta Willis is retiring after many years of volunteering with Heartland Resources. She has delivered hot, nutritious, meals to Canton senior citizens and disabled adults for over twenty years.

Roberta is pictured here being honored at the Ewing Nutrition Center site, with fellow volunteer delivery person Glen Candler to the left, and Heartland Resources visiting nurse Cindy Norcross on the right.

All of Heartland's home delivered meals are delivered by selfless volunteers like Roberta, who donate both their time and their gasoline to this essential program.

Heartland hosted a golf tournament at River Valley Golf Course. The funds raised will help provide services for Lewis County senior citizens. Thank you to all who sponsored, participated, organized, and ran the event!
