We remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

As we spend time with family and friends this holiday weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day.

1-800-BOARDUP of Philadelphia would like to congratulate Sgt. David Hammond and Cpl. Andrew Hill of the West Chester Borough Police Department on being recognized with Valor Awards at the 45th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day hosted by the Citizens Crime Commission.

These awards recognize exceptional bravery and disregard for personal safety in service to their community.

We also want to thank our friends at BELFOR Property Restoration for sponsoring and supporting these outstanding officers and for continuing to recognize the dedication and sacrifice of our law enforcement professionals.

Great to be out supporting the Chester County Camp Cadet Golf Classic this morning and proud that BELFOR Property Restoration and 1-800-BOARDUP could be a sponsor of such a great event.

Today was also about remembering Corporal Timothy J. O'Connor, Jr. and honoring his service, sacrifice, and lasting impact on the law enforcement community.

Camp Cadet continues to make a difference by building positive relationships between youth and law enforcement throughout Chester County.
