Demonstrating Pennsylvania German life on the farm, the Dreibelbis Farm Historical Society welcomed 975 visitors to the historic Dreibelbis Farm in Virginville on Saturday, Aug. 22, for its annual Farm Festival.

Featuring old-time tools and farming activities, the Farm Festival demonstrated Pennsylvania German life on the farm.

More than 225 vehicles cruised along East Main Street for Kutztown Strong’s Kutztown Kruizz on July 25.

“The Kruizz was very well attended by both spectators and participants,” said Kutztown Strong President Susan Collier. “There were hundreds of people on Main Street and in the Kutztown Park."
"We are appreciative of the community’s support.”

In addition to viewing vehicles of all makes, models and years, visitors were treated music by The Zeptones, karaoke with DJ Jeff George and concert by the Fabulous Grease Band.

Owen Macfarlane, 17, recently completed his Eagle Scout Service Project along the Sacony Creek Trail in Kutztown.

A rising senior at Kutztown Area High School and a member of Scout Troop 101 of Kutztown, Macfarlane wanted his Eagle Scout Service Project to make the nature trail safer and more accessible to the community.
