COMING SEPTEMBER 29, 2026!
About 22 years ago, I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD, and roughly 15 years ago, I received an OCD diagnosis. Having these two conditions overlap made things incredibly challenging throughout much of my life and if I’m being completely honest, navigating that balance can still have its moments today. But there’s something powerful about a wounded healer: we tend to want more for ourselves and for the people we serve than just standard, status-quo talk therapy. We dig deeper because we need real answers on a personal level, and once we find what works, we want to share it with the world.
My main purpose in creating this guide is to offer hope to anyone currently feeling trapped in a loop that feels completely endless. Therapy isn't always an easy or available option. It can be hard to access, expensive, or intimidating to sit through. Finding a clinician who is not only qualified in OCD, but who also works from a deeply humanistic, empathetic perspective can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. Furthermore, standard Exposure Response Prevention is not for everybody, and white-knuckling your way through fear isn't the only path toward healing. Genuine relief from OCD comes from within, by establishing a felt sense of internal safety inside your own mind and body.
