Back when your refrigerator lasted longer than your marriage and never needed a software update! My mother's Frigidaire ran from 1955 to 1987 without a single repair. These days, if your fridge loses Wi-Fi, it probably stops making ice. Who else remembers when appliances were built to last a lifetime?

Please do not use too much detergent in your dishwasher. They don't use much water. Also some come pre-loaded with rinse agent, which is a water softener. Therefore, do not use Jet-dry (rinse agent-water softener) because that will make matters worse. Unless you have very hard water.
