Hey there Fairbanks!
It's been a while since our last update but we have some exciting news. We were awarded a prize from the Department of Energy Buildings Upgrade Prize initiative for our local solar PV and energy efficiency work late last year. Since then, we've returned to the table to figure out what the path forward for the future of Solarize. We are transitioning to focus on our Solarize BRITE efforts to help more non-profits and families receive energy efficiency upgrades.

We will not be facilitating a 2024 solar PV community campaign to focus on expanding the BRITE program as well as supporting the 2023 Give Back Pledge and other community efforts. However, we are still here as a resource! If you have questions about getting solar or starting your own campaign, please don't hesitate to reach out! We are excited about continuing to build Solarize and provide real equitable and affordable solutions to residents. And we hope you're excited for us too.

Wish us luck and we'll continue to keep y'all in the loop!

The Buildings Upgrade Prize Phase 1 winners will advance to Phase 2 with up to $400,000 each in cash prizes and extensive technical assistance..

We were serious about that potluck part for our Megawatt Celebration😆😋
What better dinner that your neighbor's lasagna (we are hoping someone brings lasagna 🤞🏿)? Let us know what you're wanting to bring so we all don't bring salad!

Thanks for helping with food for our Megawatt Celebration this Thursday! This is just to keep us organized - see who's bringing what and such For any questions, give Alyssa a text or call @ 907-347-4670
