A Moment I Will Always Treasure
“I am deeply honored and grateful to share that I was chosen as Teacher of the Month at my school.
This is the first time our school has ever recognized teachers in this way, which makes this moment even more meaningful to me.
Coming from the Philippines and stepping into a completely new school, community, and educational environment was not easy. Everything felt different, and there were moments when I felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure of myself. There were even days when I wondered if I could keep going.
But I did.
I kept showing up. I kept learning. I kept growing. I kept reminding myself why I came here in the first place to share, to serve, and to make a difference in the lives of my students.
Being recognized as Teacher of the Month feels like a beautiful reminder of how far I have come. It represents not only an achievement, but also the journey, the challenges, the lessons, and the people who encouraged me along the way.
I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who has been part of my journey. This experience has taught me that sometimes, the moments that challenge us the most become the moments that shape us the most.
I will forever be grateful for this chapter of my life, and I will never forget this moment.”
Congratulations, Antonette! Your RVP family is celebrating with you! 🥳💙
