Happy World Password Day from Highlight!

We asked our IT Manager Jon Eitler for the best tips for creating a strong password, to help ensure cyber security.

Tip 1: The longer the better - 12 character minimum is considered best practice
Tip 2: Use a different password for every site you log in to.
Tip 3: Don't use words or phrases someone could easily guess if they know you or have info about you. - Ex. don't use your dog's name if you post its name a lot on social media
Tip 4: Try a Password manager! Some good ones: LastPass, 1Password, Keeper, iCloud Keychain
