Ex*****on mode feels like progress because things are getting done. But when you’re the one running every piece of it, you become the ceiling.

The shift from operator to architect requires actual structure. Documented processes. Clear ownership. Decision frameworks your team can use. That’s what makes growth sustainable instead of exhausting.

Q: When you catch yourself focused on WHAT you want to build before understanding HOW it actually runs… Where do you start?

A: The answer is almost always the same: start tracking.

Before you redesign anything, pause. Look at what’s already been done. Mark where you started. Mark where you are now. Check the numbers if revenue is involved. Just get honest about what’s actually happening before you keep moving.

Most people skip that step entirely. They jump straight to building the what without ever understanding the how, and then wonder why the new process isn’t working either.

Track first. Then build. 🙌🏾
