Always praying for peace and a better world 🙏❤️✨☮️🕊️

One of my favorite things about the Holy Fire World Peace upgrade is the intention of Reiki to be sent out to the world for peace. Did you know ICRT has a monthly reiki share with the world peace meditation cards?

I gifted these cards to my Reiki 1 students, to family members, and have them around my home.

There’s something about a forest that makes urgency feel completely irrelevant.

Everything here is just… doing its thing at its own pace. The moss, the bark, the ferns slowly open toward whatever light they can find.

I spent a lot of time in places like this in Ireland. And I kept thinking about how rarely we give ourselves that same permission — to unfold gradually, without forcing it.

At times it can feel like we need to catapult towards a goal. But the beauty is really in that gentle growth, the opportunity to observe and shift slowly. These past few years have been a combination of these feelings. The desire to grow fast, with life forcing me to take it slower than I want to go. But I’m grateful for the reminders to slow down because I want to take it alllll in. To really become, instead of force.

That’s what I try to hold space for in my work. Not a quick fix. Just a moment to stop bracing and let something in you quietly open.

Sharing energy healing techniques like sound healing and reiki is a blessing. Some days are filled with behind the scene moments - event planning, collaboration meetings, bookkeeping, etc. But other days are filled with sessions, group events, and online events.

Just take me outside. I promise we’ll both feel 100000000x better.

There’s science behind that feeling. Time in nature lowers cortisol, slows the heart rate, and shifts the nervous system out of that constant low-grade stress response so many of us are just living in. It doesn’t take long. It doesn’t have to be dramatic. Even a few minutes among trees or near water starts to change things in the body.

I felt it every single day in Ireland. The air, the light, the sound of everything that wasn’t a screen or a to-do list. My whole system just exhaled.

This is a big part of why I do the work I do — Reiki, sound healing, all of it is really just about helping the nervous system remember it’s safe. Nature does that too, freely and without an appointment.

Go outside today if you can. Even for ten minutes. Your body will thank you.

I could have stood here for hours. Waves have always been able to do that to me — just pull me out of my head and into my body, without me having to try.

It’s why I use so many water elements in my sound baths. Ocean drum, rain stick, pala beads. That quality of sound — unpredictable but steady — does something real for the nervous system.

Ireland reminded me why I do this work. And I came home ready to bring that energy into the room with you.

Mother’s Day this year was such a dream. Our first full day in Ireland and it was a yes-day for me. Each request I made got a yes.

What was my big ask? To be present with them. To be outdoors with them. To find a space to feed us that would be safe for my little one with allergies. It was a perfect day and I am so grateful for each of these moments.

We started the day exploring Glendalough, walking the labyrinth, the Monastic city, and the lake. Lunch at and a walk on the beach in Greystones, followed by a playground trip.

The best parts were seeing my children’s wonder and joy as we explored, and my son’s excitement over vegan lasagna and feeling safe to eat whatever he wanted.

I’ll guide you into deep relaxation & restoration using singing bowls, chimes, drums, and more, surrounded by nature and supported by its own soothing soundscape.

Flew 7 hours last week to Ireland and got to unplug. Here’s a few things I learned:

- I was talking about how important it is to rest, but I wasn’t allowing myself true rest. Part of that is working on boundaries - saying no to things sometimes and not overbooking myself. This is going to have to be a longer goal because I know I’ve already booked myself out for most of the year.

- I need to unplug more. It felt so amazing to be present with my family and not really care about posting, checking social media, or sharing what was going on.

- I’m not spending nearly enough time outside, even though I love being outdoors. Building in time to be present in nature helps me feel so much more balanced, and the time is necessary not earned.

- it’s time for a major home declutter. And it may be a little bit before it actually happens, but I feel better with more visual space.

- life feels less stressful when you aren’t constantly worrying about being “present” or “seen” in an online space.

- I miss photography - with a camera - and doing it just because I enjoy it.

- traveling with kids gets so much easier as you have less STUFF to bring and as they get older. I was so impressed with my kids on the flights and during time changes. It definitely helped us feel more comfortable for future travel.

- other countries seem so much less stressed and the people in Ireland especially were so so friendly and kind. It really makes me wonder about the US culture and how we are always doing, rushing, adding more onto our plates.
