UTS Systems attended the 2026 Annual Operational Medicine Symposium (OpMed) & Technology Showcase. This is one of the largest and most influential military medical events in North America for senior medical officials, clinicians, government leaders, and solution providers. The 8th Annual Symposium explored how the Military Health System is preparing for large scale combat operations by championing innovations in combat casualty care to strengthen Warfighter survivability and enhance the medical readiness of the Joint Force.

UTS in the Field: Business and Development Team Ed Sudac and Justin King spent (2) weeks supporting AF Medical (EMEDS) teams, Civil Engineers and Combat Communication units in the UK and Germany. While there, the team trained over 400 warfighters, assisted in gear inspection and re-set for mission readiness and success. “UTS-Systems’ Air Force (AF) Business Development Team, Ed Sudac and Manny Ramirez, attended the Nellis AFB 2024 Weapons and Tactics (WEPTAC) Tradeshow in the second week of January. During the 2-day event, the Team briefed several key AF Leaders on our Capabilities that included but not limited to shelters, command and control (C2), and power generation. They also highlighted UTS’s Air Rapid Response Kits (ARRK) and how it fits in the Air Force Force Generation (AFFORGEN) and Agile Combat Employment (ACE) model. The ARRK is divided into seven separate kits from a 100-person beddown, C2 Suite, to a water purification and mobile armory and more! The ARRK makes for the “easy button” to accommodate multiple deployment packages.”

Every year, Highway 98.1 Country music station puts on “Bikes or Bust" which is a charitable community event.
From December 1st to December 5th, members of the community donate to help children in need receive new bikes and equipment.
For the last 6 years, a UTS Shelter
has served as a base of operations for this charitable function. UTS Systems is proud to contribute to an event that gives back to the youth in our community, and we look forward to helping for years to come.

Another true testament to UTS-Systems’ shelter durability not only in normal conditions, but in an arctic environment as well. The Air Force’s Special Operations Command, Mission Sustainment Teams have taken their UTS shelters through rigorous environmental testing to assess their mission effectiveness. Assigned to Hurlburt Field Florida, airmen from the 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron, Mission Sustainment Team, employed their gear at the McKinley Climatic Laboratory at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and successfully validated their mission capabilities. Once again, UTS provided a durable effective soft-wall shelter that is exemplary in both quality and speed of setup that proved vital to a unit’s overall success!
