Oh what to do with all that China you have collecting dust, unused or inherited??? And, does auction China sets? Yes & no… here’s what we recommend 👇
🍽️ First, if it’s special in some way, pick a few pieces to keep to — remember & enjoy.
🙋♀️ But what should I keep? We recommend any of these: a plate/platter (use for birthday cakes, charcuterie or holidays); a few dessert plates (for dessert or holiday use); a small bowl or plate (for trinkets on your desk or dresser); or, a few cups & saucers maybe a tea of coffee pot to enjoy tea or coffee.
🫖 Put any broken pieces into a box (we’ll take those for crafter lots).
🧑💻 Then, contact Our Auction House at (513)279-8844 or [email protected].
📆 Set a time for pick up / drop off. Or stop by a Drop Off Day (2nd 3rd & 4th Fridays and Saturdays 11am-3pm).
📦 Carefully box any remaining items — individually wrap or layer with tissue, paper, bubble wrap (the key is to keep pieces from banging against one another).
👨⚖️ Trust us to auction the best items or smaller segments (it sells better this way vs a whole set or collection which doesn’t sell well today).
💰 Get paid! But please understand, China and crystal just doesn’t bring high dollars like it used to. So we’ll do our best… and remember small amounts when added together create a better result so feel free to look for other items to add into your boxes before coming over or setting pickup.
