Right down the line (of sight) 🎵

One of the most important parts of fixed wireless internet is something called LOS… or “line of sight.”

That means there needs to be a clear path between a customer’s dish and the tower delivering their connection. Trees, terrain, and distance can all affect signal strength, which is why our field techs are constantly maintaining and upgrading towers like this one above Blue Ridge Oaks.

The better the line of sight, the better the connection for the community below!

Meet Brian! Brian has been with Valley Internet for 10 years and loves that the job keeps him outside instead of behind a desk. Over the years, his work has taken him across some of the most beautiful peaks and ridges throughout Napa, Lake, and Solano counties — views most people never get to see.

When he’s squeezing in lunch between installs, you’ll probably find him at Buster’s Original Southern BBQ. And on the drive to the next job? There’s a good chance he’s got “Dirt on My Boots” by Jon Pardi playing.
