One of the reasons I love what I do. 📸
My camera has introduced me to so many incredible people, and today I had the opportunity to meet and spend a little time with Stephen Mills, author of Chosen: A Memoir of Stolen Boyhood, winner of the 2022 National Jewish Book Award for Autobiography & Memoir.
What makes my job so special isn’t only capturing the photograph—it’s meeting the person, hearing their story, and sometimes walking away from an assignment having learned something myself.
Stephen, it was truly a pleasure meeting you and having the opportunity to hear your story. This is one of those photographs that means a little more to me.

What an amazing week! And ending it today with a photo shoot of 40 handbags—although I won't exactly take my picture with all of them! 😂
So, my last photo of the week is from the Men’s Club of Mozaic Senior Life Celebrity Breakfast with their wonderful guest speaker, Armen Keteyian.
One of the things I love about what I do is that no two days—or photo shoots—are ever the same. It’s fun to share a little bit of my week with my friends, and I’d love to see what you’ve been up to as well!

Wow, what a difference a year makes!
I headed into St. Thomas Aquinas School last week to photograph new faculty members so they could update their website, and you could feel the excitement for the new school year before even walking through the doors.
It started with a newly completed parking lot, followed by the smell of fresh paint and beautifully waxed floors as the school prepares to open this Thursday. The teachers were gathered for their faculty meeting, and their enthusiasm was contagious.
I have a long history with St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, Fairfield, CT so I always enjoy coming back and seeing what they continue to do to make the school even better. Just to say how long, I took one of the new faculties school portraits when she went to the school. But the truth is, it’s hard to improve on something that already runs so well.
From the building to the faculty and staff, St. Thomas Aquinas School is truly a fine-tuned, well-run machine, ready to welcome its students back for another great year.
